Cole Logo
This mark has become my own personal identity. In fact, it may be the first graphic type project I ever did. I sketched a rounded version of this as early as sixth grade. It actually began in a more rounded setup ad had a squared off option. After careful refining, it now has a 3 to 1 thickness to spacing ratio with a geometric layout.

The E.T.H.I.C.S. Society Logo
One of the programs of the Steward’s Staff, The ETHICS Society is an organization driven, governed and led by youth. It focuses on leadership development, social awareness and personal responsibility. The acronym stands for Enrichment Through Helping Individuals and Community Succeed. Members of their group came up with a logo that used within the organization. It consisted of a tree with roots shown under the horizon with a peace sign in the tree. It had the entire title spelled out along with a tag-line. Here is my much refined edition.

The Illumination Derby Ball is an event set up by a young louisvillian who was once turned away from a derby party that he wanted to attend. Frustrated and determined, he began his own event that would be for teens only. The event is an official Derby Festival Event. The the emblem, I designed the letters out of simple shapes and used a gradient to represent illumination coming from the dot of the i.

The word-mark is a type face that as been altered to give it a unique feel.

KSR Logo
Kentucky Sports Radio is a blog site that covers University of Kentucky Basketball and Football and related topics. They are sports writers who cover Big Blue in the most ridiculous manner possible (their own words). Even though I didn’t discover this site until early fall of 2009, I have grown to love it and I check the site at least five times a day. I created this logo for them just out of boredom and admiration.

Running Cardinal
This cardinal logo is a reproduction of the older cardinal logo that have been discarded. When I got the assignment to create imagery for the annual “Run for the L of it” 5K, I immediately thought of those old logos that had the cardinal bird jumping for a lay up or playing football. What I did was recreate the basic image from the old logos and updated the look to use the current cardinal bird head, the current “L” and the current red stripe in the new branding. I also repositioned the arms of the cardinal to give it a running stance.
